Travel Fee Policy
Back ’N Stride Animal Chiropractic brings personalized chiropractic care directly to your animals. Our travel fees are structured as follows:
Travel Fee: $1.25 per minute of one-way driving time, rounded down to the nearest $5, with a $25 minimum per location.
Travel Time Calculation: One-way driving time is calculated from our office mailing address to your location.
Shared Travel Fees: When multiple owners have animals treated at the same location, the total travel fee—including the minimum—is split evenly among participating owners.
Effective Dates: Updated travel fees apply immediately to new clients. Established clients will remain at the current rate of $1 per minute with a $20 minimum through October 31, 2026. The updated rate applies to all clients beginning November 1, 2026.

Misconceptions of Animal Chiropractic
Animal Chiropractic IS NOT:
Using a Mallet or Hammer.
Using an instrument to click all the way down an animal’s spine without checking each joint of the spine and extremities for abnormal or restricted movement.
Dragging a horse on the back of a truck to “Adjust” their back.
Twisting or cracking of the neck or low back.
Common Misconceptions About Chiropractic:
A bone is “out of place”. The correct answer: If a bone were out of place this would be a dislocation.
Chiropractors “Crack backs”. Seldomly a noise will be heard while adjusting an animal. Due to their anatomy, animals do not experience the amount of cavitation or “cracks” seen with people, and it does not mean the animal was not adjusted.
